The Future of ERM

 

This session presented by David Fox will explore the introduction, definition and history of Enterprise Risk Management and today’s converging forces, which include new risk, more board responsibility and the reputation risk framework.  A compliance and ethics discussion will include Whistleblower Laws and the Road Map to best practices.  The session will end with a discussion of the future of ERM and a Q&A segment.

 

David Fox has served as a member of NC State’s ERM Initiative Advisory Board since 2010 and has been a speaker several times since its inception in 2003.  Mr. Fox currently provides Enterprise Risk Management consulting services with a particular focus on reputational risk.  Mr. Fox previously has served as an insurance broker for Gallagher’s Energy Group, in risk management positions for KBR and Progress Energy, in corporate finance positions for Dynegy, and as a banker early in his career with IBJ and Underwood, Neuhaus.  He received his MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
